I will dominate 'legitimate fighter' Jake Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-bout contest which will be streamed in real-time on the streaming platform.

British boxer Anthony Joshua stated he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "break" the American as the combatants confronted each other to promote next month's bout.

Ex two time unified heavyweight champion Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a huge mismatch - at Miami Kaseya Center on December 19th.

Fighter's Mindset

"I plan to damage his features and hurt his body. My goal is to show I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35 years old, said.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's how fighters think.

"I intend to seriously aim to hurt him. That's what I want to do."

Civil Exchange

Despite those words, a calm Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - normally known for his dramatics - were respectful and kept it respectful with each other.

Paul instead attacked former Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "a joke" after Ngannou declined a match opportunity.

Taking Aim at Tyson Fury

Joshua, in the meantime, criticized British rival Fury - and declined a large bet 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a victory for Paul.

"Jake Paul is better than Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer said.

"I respect him for that."

Legitimate Fighter

In spite of saying he intends to damage his opponent, Joshua refused to speak negatively about his opponent's fighting skills.

"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he stated.

Jake Paul's Background

Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mostly fought mixed martial artists or declining opponents since becoming pro.

He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in last year.

Commercial Attraction

Still, the novice continues to be one of the sport's greatest financial successes, regularly earning substantial paydays.

Prediction and Confidence

The 28 year old predicted a KO victory in rounds four or five and claimed he would prevent the much-anticipated Fury-Joshua bout, which is allegedly under discussion for two years from now.

"The next fight will be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Paul declared.

Physical Disparity

As Joshua and Paul engaged in the customary stare-down, with their physical disparity evident, it emphasized just how improbable this entire matchup is - and how astonishing it is that the fight is truly happening.
